So I have spent the last 8 weeks or so in the Sonoran foothills directing a summer camp. I have been involved in the camp there for the past 16 years or so and it is very likely that it was my final summer. For anyone who reads this blog of sorts (and is interested) you can check out the website at www.foothillhorizons.com. The site has not been updated since the spring, but you can get an idea.
Well, though I am sad that an era in my life may be completing, I am excited at the prospect of returning to san diego and beginning the next phase....entering the 'real' world and finding a 'real' job. At this point in my life the task seems herculean in difficulty, but I am sure that it will turn out fine.
I am also very excited to get back into the pirate world as I have missed you all very much and can't wait to sail the seas again. I am a little anxious however to see how much I have missed and what changes now affect the ocean. At least it will give me something interesting to explore for a while.
Well, that is all I have for now. I will see me piratey mates soon. Oh and look for pictures of me and me wench from the pirate party to grace the forum pages before too long.
